- General
- These terms and conditions apply to all driving lessons provided by Gary O’Flaherty
- By booking a lesson, the student agrees to these terms.
- Payments and Cancellations
- Payments must be made in advance or at the start of each lesson.
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations; otherwise, the full lesson fee may be charged.
- Block bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at the instructor’s discretion.
- Student Requirements
- The student must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and produce it on request.
- The student must be medically fit and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- The instructor reserves the right to refuse or terminate a lesson if the student is unfit to drive.
- Lesson Conduct
- The instructor will provide a roadworthy vehicle for the lesson.
- The student must follow all instructions and road safety rules during lessons.
- Any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence may result in the student being liable for costs.
- Driving Tests
- The instructor will assess when the student is ready for a driving test.
- The use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test is subject to availability and the instructor’s approval.
- Test fees are payable separately to the DVSA and are not included in lesson fees.
- For driving test days, there is a £100 charge, which includes a 1-hour lesson before the test, driving to and from the test center, and use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test. This does not include any test fees.
- Liability
- The instructor is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from lessons unless caused by negligence.
- The instructor’s vehicle is fully insured for tuition purposes.
- Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal data will be handled in accordance with data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
- Changes to Terms
- The instructor reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
- Any changes will be communicated to students in advance.
By booking a lesson, the student acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
